Terms & Conditions.

TEACHER TRAINING WITH YAGO

The Course

  1. On acceptance to the Yago Level 1 Course, and on payment of the fees as per the payment schedule agreed, the student is expected to attend the course. Attendance is required on all days the course is running. If a student is unable to make a particular day, for reasons beyond their control, the student is advised that they must review the course schedules and agree with Yago a suitable date for them to retake the day(s) they have missed. Yago understands that in some instances students may not be able to attend every day of the course, but attendance on the course is vital and Yago will take missed days, resulting in lack of continuity with the course, and the course materials, into consideration when deciding the success of each student.
  2. If a student accepts a place on the Yago Level 1 Course, the student agrees to engage with the course content. It is vital that students participate in all aspects of the course, to be successful in their training. If students refuse to participate in certain practices – for whatever reason – this will be taken into account by the Tutors, collectively, when accessing the students overall success.
  3. Throughout this course, tutors will advise students of areas where they may need more work, or further refinement to develop their practice. If students refuse to engage in the ongoing learning and development on the course, this may impact there overall success.
  4. Success of the course is measured in the following way. Assessment at the end of the course to include a short teaching practice. In addition, all Tutors will meet to discuss each student and review their practice and development since the beginning of the course. Tutors will take into account where attendance has been poor, which has had a negative impact on the students ability to learn with continuity, and also, instances where a student refuses to take part in particular aspects of the course material. Students will be given written feedback, following their teaching practice assessment.

Payment for the Course

  1. Where a student has paid the full fee or part of the fee, and later decides that they do not want to proceed with the course, they will be entitled to a full refund up to 14 days before the course is due to commence. Any decision not to attend the course after this 14 day period will result in the student forfeiting their payment. The payment will not be refundable.
  2. Payment for the course should be made in line with the agreed payment terms. If payment is missed at the start of the course, Yago has the right to refuse a student to attend. If payment is missed throughout the course, Yago has the right to refuse a student to continue attending.
  3. For students paying by monthly instalments, Yago will process these instalment payments by card on an agreed date every month. All ongoing payments must be made by card and this card must be set up on the students account on course commencement. Yago will not accept cheque, bank transfer, or any other form of payment.
  4. Where a student has paid the full fee or part of the fee, and later decides that they do not want to proceed with the course, they will be entitled to a full refund up to 14 days before the course is due to commence.
